Leverkusen, September 25, 2007 – The American Depositary Shares (ADSs) of Bayer AG
will be traded on the New York Stock Exchange (NYSE) for the last time tomorrow, Wednesday.
Starting Thursday, September 27, Bayer ADSs will be traded in the U.S. over-the-counter market.
Bayer had announced on September 5 that it would file for delisting of its ADSs from the
NYSE. The company also plans to file for deregistration with the Securities and Exchange Commission
(SEC), resulting in termination of the respective reporting obligations.
